Tito’s Restaurant Pizzeria

Tito’s makes some of the best pizza in Greenville with a homestyle atmosphere to match. Simplicity is key here, as the sauce allows the acidity and sweetness of the tomato to shine through but not to be masked by the cheese. The crust is delish with a nice, even rise and cook.

Want to enjoy specialty pies with Sicilian recipes? Then head to Tito’s as they have a wide range of homemade recipes to choose from. Be sure to add a glass of wine.

Locals flock to Tito’s not only for the pies and traditional dishes, but also for the welcoming atmosphere and attentive sauce.

We recommend: New York Style Pizza (round thin hand tossed crust), Sicilian Genova Pizza (white pizza with spinach, roasted red peppers, chopped fresh garlic), Sicilian Margherita Pizza (fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, shredded mozzarella).

Pizza City New York Style

Pizza City can be easily missed on Pleasantburg Drive, but the nondescript store is turning out quality pies. The sauce is oregano-forward, which is put on the pizzas with a skilled touch. The crust has a great chew and crunch in the bottom with lots of small, even air bubbles running throughout. The slices are easily foldable to give you that full New York slice experience.

The atmosphere at Pizza City is cozy and inviting which makes it perfect for a night out or hanging with friends (alcohol served). The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We recommend: Hand tossed NY Style Cheese Pizza, Traditional Italian Pizza (fresh tomatoes, chopped garlic, mozzarella, diced basil, dash of olive oil).

Pebble Creek Pizza

yelp.com

Pebble Creek Pizza has been serving Greenville for almost thirty years with quality pizza.

The dough is made fresh daily and is the perfect vehicle for any of their toppings. The sauce leans acidic, but it’s needed against the cheese. The hand-tossed pizza is a local favorite and unlike many locally-owned, independent pizzerias, they will deliver. The extensive menu includes pizzas, pasta, wings, calzones/strombolis, and hoagies.

We recommend: Classic Cheese Pizza (hand-tossed, thin crust), Radical Pie (onion, mushrooms, green pepper, pepperoni, italian sausage, beef, pork sausage, black olives, extra cheese), Greek Pie (feta cheese, black olives, diced tomato, extra cheese).

Pizza Parcheggio

This “secret” place has gained a cult following with pizza lovers in Greenville. They offer pizza carry-out only (no dine in, no delivery) and their classic thin crust is only baked well done. They are very strict about how they do things which adds to the intrigue. These are the marching orders:
They have a limited amount of pies each day, first come first served
All pies are 16”, 8 slices and they do not do half toppings or substitutions
They absolutely recommend pre-ordering and if they are sold out you can order the next time slot available the next day

They are only open from Thursday through Sunday, so plan ahead. Trust us, it is worth it.
